Pros:I needed a utility pouch because I got tired of gripping my shirt pocket when I bent down in order to prevent my phone from falling out. On this pouch, I keep the phone in the front pocket and although the squeeze clip keeps it from popping out, the pocket is deep and snug enough so that unless you’re doing something very physical, or running, you don’t really need to clip the pocket close. There are three credit card pockets, one with clear plastic for an ID such as a driver’s license, which doesn’t make much sense as you’ll have to remove your ID to properly show it to whoever needs to see it. Three slots are enough for my needs because all the barcodes for the gazillion discount and reward cards from all the supermarkets, drug stores etc… that I shop, are replicated on my Pocket Barcode phone app, I also have an app to capture and organize business cards.I keep my money folded it up in an interior pocket facing the card slots and the space behind the card slots is reserved for receipts that I clear out at the end of the day. Additionally, there’s enough room for a pair of slim reading glasses, a skinny pill bottle I keep filled with various pills, a pen and there’s still some room left over for other small things. So to recap, my phone doesn’t fall to the floor, I don’t have a pants pocket full of crumpled receipts, my headache pills are handy as is my reading glasses, a pen, cash, driver’s license, ATM card, medical insurance card and, If I were so inclined, I could carry some Mary Jane or a little cocaine or both… IF I WERE SO INCLINED and I’m not suggesting that I am so inclined… I’m just sayin’ s’all.Cons:Doesn’t mask scents from police dogs.Seriously though: The main reason I chose this particular utility pouch was because I reckoned that the carry cords would allow me to sling the pouch across my torso like a sling bag. It turns out that the two cords, was actually a single cord slotted through the two loops on either side of the top of the pouch. This pretty much kept the pouch from staying in position and it also allowed the pouch to twist annoyingly. I cut the cord at the opposite end of the length adjustment squeeze thingy thinking I could just tie each end to its own loop but the nylon cord is actually a nylon sheaf with a cotton like core that made doing this a bit of a problem and in any event, the nylon was too slippery to stay tied. In addition, the cord is too thin and while I don’t carry enough in the pouch to weigh it down to the point where it digs into my neck, it was still not comfortable.Fortunately for me, I like to customize stuff like this and I had a bag full of 1” plastic squeeze clips (very similar to the front squeeze clip on this pouch). I got two very inexpensive, black dog leashes (for greater length and the two metal clips), cut the hand holds off, sewed the female clip onto one leash and the male clip on to the other and used the two metal spring clips that usually attach to a dog collar, to attach it to the pouch, now I finally have the pouch I want. All of this was relatively simple for me to do but I don’t think most of you would go through the trouble of buying two dog leashes, plastic squeeze clips, digging out a sewing kit and customizing your pouch, but for me it resulted in a much better product, as far as my needs are concerned, than is currently available on Amazon. I should add that this was the only pouch I saw that would allow me to customize it in this manner.
